The most popular varietal of blackberries in the Pacific Northwest, marionberies share their pleasant tartness and complex flavors in a cider that is sure to delight.
6.5 ABV | 1.8 Brix
Ingredients: fresh pressed washington apples, marionberries, cane sugar
Summertime and marionberries go hand-in-hand. Marionberries are an iconic berry in the Pacific Northwest in part because they were bred at Oregon State University. But what makes them so special? It’s the color, the flavor, and the aroma that drew our cider making team to create this vibrant summer seasonal. Poured from the can or tap, Marionberry cider is a vibrant, jewel toned magenta. The berry notes on the nose are big and bold, mingling with subtle notes of apple. On the palate, Marionberry comes in tart and tangy like a berry off the vine. There’s touch of sweetness for balance and the berry character shines through from start to finish. We think Marionberry is perfect just the way it is, but if you like a little adventure and inspiration, check out our Marionberry cider cocktail recommendations here.
